Events & Registration
How well do you know God? Is God a God of vengeance or is He a God of love? Why is the character of God in the Old Testament different from the character of God in the New Testament? A key to being able to receive from God is understanding all the different aspects of Father God and developing an intimate knowledge of who He is. Join Pastor Barry on Tuesday evenings at 7pm as he explores the topic “Knowing God.” It will change your life and spiritual walk.
Do you ever have the desire to touch the lives of people in our community but don’t quite know how or where to start? On May 14th and 21st, we’ll be highlighting several ministries and organizations that people in our congregation are involved with, which are affecting our community and world. You’ll have a chance to connect with them and find out how you can personally bring Christ’s love to people, near and far, who desperately need to experience Him.
Worship Art – Releasing His Presence
Creativity that originates from the heart has an amazing influence in shifting atmospheres and ushering in the Presence of God. Our group, Releasing His Presence Worship Art, is simply an opportunity to explore your creative nature and begin releasing the Presence of God through various creative genres. On Saturday, May 20th from 6-8:30pm, we have invited worship artist Mandy Gero to join us. Mandy will be sharing her beautiful techniques in alcohol and ink. She will also bring a display of her art that calls your heart to peace and celebration. You don’t need to be “good at art” to join us; you just need to have a childlike heart that loves to explore and isn’t afraid of coloring outside the lines. Cost to attend this session is $25.00 which includes all materials. For our planning purposes, pre-registration is required for this session by Wednesday, May 17th. You can register online or at the Information Desk. For more details, see Maritza Lovett or Pastor Sally.
The staff offices will be closed on Monday, May 29th in observation of Memorial Day. If you have an emergency, please phone the main office and follow the prompts.
